How many partion to be install in Linux

what is the minimum number of partition you need to install Linux?

We can install linux on "1" partition also

but u can use "3"

/boot

/

swap

Swap and Root.

Else you can define the various other partition

But now days we need 4 partition minimum one for /boot/ef

you can install linux on single partition. That is /.

It is better to make 3 partition.
